ABOUT ME


Meet Sam, owner of Workplace Wellness Solutions, and Workplace Wellness Guide.


Sam has been practicing yoga for over 13 years, and has been teaching since 2023. She obtained her 200 hour yoga teacher certification from Studios at Downtown in Westminster, MD (formerly Downtown Yoga) in May 2022.

Early into teaching yoga, Sam was offered an opportunity to lead virtual chair yoga sessions for the employees of a credit union. After the first session, the employees who participated were incredibly grateful and reported feeling calmer and happier throughout their workday; they immediately booked a second session. Sam knew right away that this was something she wanted to bring to more workplaces, and in 2024 launched her business, Workplace Wellness Solutions. Her goal is simple: make yoga, mindfulness, and gratitude practices accessible to as many people as possible. Why? Because “people” are stressed, and the demands of day-to-day life can feel overwhelming. The more people who have access to the things she teaches, the better able people are to manage their day-to-day stress levels, and find more satisfaction in their daily lives. More happy people means a happier world, and that’s what it’s all about for Sam! 

When she’s not teaching or practicing yoga, you might find her gardening, reading, hiking, attending her kid’s baseball games, or enjoying a cold one on the deck. She is super accessible and friendly, and passionate about making a difference in people’s lives.
